I advocate healthy living. Odd really, because I’ve had people telling me that girls my age ought to be stuffing down fries and chips, chocolates and nachos, past caring about the detriments they bring to our body, instead of habitually casting disapproving glances at people for the lousy food choices that they make.
I began this quest when I was 15. Now that I’ve mentioned it, that was a really young age to start out. I had no clue what I was in for. All I knew was I really wanted to look svelte, as with all the other girls in the world when they reach adolescence.
“How did they get THAT body?” I, for one, often catch myself asking how people achieve the look they desire. I’m neither especially fat nor thin; I have no history of anorexia nor bulimia, no particular bad vices to speak of; I don’t smoke, don’t drink, don’t abuse drugs. Basically I have a clean slate. So why am I so conscious about living healthily? Find out through the posts I write.
I have a dream, no, a fantasy really. I want to be able to reach out to the ordinary masses (as long as you’ve access to the World Wide Web) and inspire them to live as divinely as possible.
Still, I have my occasional slip-ups. I, too, am learning and struggling with discipline and temptations that each day presents. I hope that by being a living example to my readers, that I can, really live by example.
Clearly from my archives, it is evident that this blog has been in existence since November 2009. From then until now, its sole purpose was to provide an outlet for collectible articles that I found helpful to me. These articles serve as my springboard for change whenever I veer towards the other direction. But it lacked..my personal touch.
- A WANDERLUST.
- I love nature. Leisurely walks, discovery trails.
- Running. Hiking.
- Sweet tooth.
- A discoverer. An explorer.
- One of the quotes I live by: Life is too short to be serious.
- I chronicle my deeper thoughts in private.
- & like you, I’m a work in progress.
Everyone has a reason and a purpose for their existence. You know, I have been looking for mine for the longest time too. Could this be it?
